Everyone has different bodies, some people sweat more and some less.

You apparently sweat more, but don’t worry, many others do too. Instead of using a deodorant, use an antiperspirant. This stops sweating altogether, let alone the smell.

i had that problem and as soon as i lost a little weight it went away. you are very likely not obese but even a few pounds throws off your hormones and causes sweating

You would most likely have to switch to a more absorbant brand of deodorant. Also I would suggest you use a deodorant with a strong fragrance!!

You should ask a doctor about this or just wear cloths that can breathe like shorts or short sleeve shirts.

don’t worry – this is all probably just hormones. everyone goes through a sweaty stage! i know i did. try clinical strength deoderant.

Have you tried using a liquid anti-perspirant? they work really well, I suggest lady speedstick! you could also just find a deodorant that has a fruity smell and that should conter-act the sweat smell :P try putting your hair up more often and give you neck/back a break!lol Hope this helps :)

I had the exact same problem as you, until I tried Certain Dri. Don’t try Secret Clinical Strength or Dove Clinical or anything else that promises you “dryness”. I tried EVERYTHING and only Certain Dri worked. Make sure you follow the instructions, like putting it on at night. Use a regular deodorant in the morning to keep you smelling fresh all day, and use Certain Dri at night to keep you from sweating the next day. Even if you don’t believe it will work, you might as well try it because it’s only 5 or 6 bucks. They sell it at Walgreens or other drugstores.

    Good Luck!

If you REALLY can’t stop, you should see a dermatologist. The doctor can make suggestions or prescribe you a deodorant. In EXTREME cases of excessive sweating, sometimes they recommend surgery.

But I feel your pain, sister. Like you, I sweat a lot and it’s embarrassing. I used to bring deodorant everywhere I went and reapply all the time too. I even kept it in my glove compartment!

The best product I’ve found is called Certain-Dri. It’s a roll-on deodorant (it comes in a box) you can find at your local Wal-Mart. It works way better than any of the other lame “prescription strength” deodorants companies like Degree and Secret offer. Just be sure to read the directions. Sometimes, because Certain-Dri is unscented, I follow up with a little bit of regular strength deodorant (even though they don’t recommend it). It’s worked well for me. Good luck!

I have a colleague who has the same problem as you have. He used to be the victim of excessive underarm sweat and sweating in general. Lately, he started adopting herbal or natural cures.
This is what he did about it.

To help reduce night sweats, he took fennel and peppermint and mixed them into a tea and drank it a few hours before sleeping. It didn’t work as soon as he had thought it should have but eventually it did work. He told me he used a guide of some sort, getting it from this site:
